The control process of busbar processing equipment is relatively simple, and hydraulic bending is generally used, but the high accuracy of the bending angle must be guaranteed.

The customer requires that the error between the actual bending angle and the set bending angle be within the range of ±1°.

To ensure the accuracy of the bending angle, a high-precision grating scale displacement sensor is used in the equipment to detect the mold stroke.

The counting measurement is completed through the hardware high-speed counter of the Germany SIEMENS PLC.

For profiles of different thicknesses, the rebound correction data is calculated by experiment to compensate for the rebound effect of the profile.

In terms of working mode, the equipment is divided into limit bending and angle bending.

Limit Bending means that the front and rear limits corresponding to the bending angles of different plates are calculated according to the actual operation on site, and this is used as the reference position for bending.

Angle Bending means that according to the plate thickness and bending angle parameters input by the operator, the PLC calculates the stroke of the movable mold and uses this as the reference for bending.

Depending on the plate, bending is divided into vertical bending and horizontal bending. According to the difference in the two types of molds, the PLC needs to perform bending calculations separately.

1. Why does the copper busbar machine need to calibrate the bending molds?

The main purpose of calibrating the bending mold of the copper busbar machine is to ensure processing accuracy and normal operation of the equipment.

Mold calibration is a very critical step in the process of the CNC busbar processing machine. 

Its purpose is to measure the actual distance from the front section of the movable mold to the front section of the fixed mold to ensure the accuracy of the bending angle.

If the bending mold is not calibrated accurately, it will seriously affect the processing accuracy during normal operation
